Travel Guide to Gyumri Railway Station

Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from the center of Shirak, head northwest on Abovyan Street towards Tigran Metz Avenue. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Ashot Nadyan Street. Turn left onto Ashot Nadyan Street and follow it until you reach the junction with Gyumri's main road. At the main road, turn right and continue for approximately 10 minutes. You will see signs for the Gyumri Railway Station (located at QVQ6+628, Gyumri). The station is on your left, just before you reach the city center.

• Public Transportation

  For public transportation, you can take a minibus (marshrutka) from the main bus station in Shirak, located on Tigran Metz Avenue. Look for a marshrutka heading towards Gyumri. The fare is approximately 500 AMD (Armenian Dram). The journey takes around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Gyumri bus station, exit and look for local transport options or walk towards the railway station. It is about a 15-minute walk; head east on Gayi Street, then take a left onto Ashot Nadyan Street until you reach the railway station.

• Taxi

  Using a taxi is a convenient option if you prefer a direct route. You can book a taxi through local apps or hail one at the street. The fare from Shirak to Gyumri Railway Station is generally around 2,000 to 3,000 AMD, depending on traffic. The journey should take about 15-20 minutes, depending on your starting location in Shirak.
