From the Oranjestad cruise terminal, Surfside Beach is approximately a 15-minute walk. Exit the terminal and turn right onto L.G. Smith Boulevard. Continue along the boulevard, following the coastline. Surfside Beach will be on your right, just before the airport.
Public Transport
To reach Surfside Beach from Oranjestad by public transport, take the Arubus. The central bus station is near the cruise terminal. Board a bus heading towards Surfside Beach and ask the driver for the nearest stop. The cost is $2.60 for a single trip or $5 for a round trip. Buses run every 15 minutes from 5:45 AM to 6:00 PM, and every 40 minutes until 11:30 PM.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available at the Oranjestad cruise terminal. The taxi fare to Surfside Beach is approximately $11. The journey takes about 5 minutes. Confirm the fare with the driver before starting your ride.
