If you are driving, start from Atherton Tablelands and head south on the Kennedy Highway (State Route 1) towards Cairns. Continue following the highway for approximately 60 km until you reach Cairns. Once you arrive in Cairns, take the exit onto Mulgrave Road (State Route 91). Follow Mulgrave Road and turn left onto Abbott Street. Saint Monica's Cathedral will be located on your right at 181 Abbott St, Cairns City QLD 4870. There is street parking available, but be mindful of parking signs as some areas may require payment.

To reach Saint Monica's Cathedral via public transportation, start by taking a bus from Atherton to Cairns. You can catch the bus at the Atherton Bus Station. The journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours and costs approximately AUD 15 - 20. Once you arrive at the Cairns Bus Terminal, you can either walk (about 1 km) or take a local bus towards the city center. If walking, head south on Spence Street, then take a left onto Abbott Street. The cathedral will be on your left at 181 Abbott St. If you take a local bus, make sure it stops near Abbott Street.
