Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the town of Katoomba. Head west on the Great Western Highway (A32) for about 10 km until you reach the roundabout at Blackheath. Take the second exit onto the Blackheath Road and continue for approximately 2 km. Look for the signs directing you to Govetts Leap Lookout. Turn left onto Govetts Leap Road and follow it until you reach the Govetts Leap car park (98C6+MF, Blackheath NSW 2787). The descent begins near the lookout area.
