Driving

From Blackheath, follow the signs to Blackheath Village. Turn onto the Great Western Highway (A32) and take the exit towards Breaside Walk. Drive along Breaside Walk to find the Barrow Lookout parking area. Parking is limited, so arrive early. There are no tolls on this route. Parking is free.

Public Transport

Take a train from Sydney to Blackheath Station on the Blue Mountains Line. The journey takes approximately two hours. From Blackheath Station, take a local bus towards Blackheath Village. Check the bus schedule in advance. From Blackheath Village, walk or take a taxi to Barrow Lookout. The walk is approximately 30 minutes along Breaside Walk. A train ticket from Central Station to Blackheath Station costs $6 - $10.
