If you're driving, start from Katoomba, which is a central hub in the Blue Mountains. Head south on the Great Western Highway (A32) for approximately 5 km. Turn left onto Cliff Drive, then follow it until you reach the end. Next, turn right onto Anvil Rock Road, which will lead you to the Anvil Rock Track car park. Be sure to park in the designated area; there is no fee for parking.

To reach Anvil Rock Lookout using public transportation, take a train from Sydney to Katoomba Station, which is approximately a 2-hour journey. From Katoomba Station, catch the Blue Mountains Explorer Bus (Route 1) towards Scenic World and get off at the stop for Anvil Rock Track, which is about a 15-minute ride. Once you arrive, you will need to walk approximately 1 km along the Anvil Rock Track to reach the lookout. Note that the bus fare ranges from $10 to $20 depending on the distance traveled.
