If you are driving from Katoomba, head south on Katoomba St towards Bathurst Rd. After 2.5 km, turn right onto the Great Western Highway/A32. Continue for about 9 km until you reach the turn-off for Wentworth Falls. Follow Wentworth Falls Rd, then turn left onto Anvil Rock Track. There will be signs directing you to Anvil Rock Lookout. Parking is available at the base of the track.
