Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from Katoomba, head south on the Great Western Highway (A32) for about 3 kilometers. Then, take the exit toward Leura and merge onto Leura Mall. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Megalong Street, then turn right onto Megalong Street. Follow this road until you see the entrance to Elysian Rock Access Walk on your left. There is parking available nearby.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Elysian Rock Lookout via public transportation, take a train from Sydney to Leura Station, which is approximately a 2-hour journey. Upon arriving at Leura Station, exit the station and catch the Blue Mountains Explorer Bus (Route 2) towards Scenic World. Get off at the stop for Elysian Rock Access Walk. From there, it’s a short walk to the lookout. Follow the signs leading to the access walk.

• Walking

  If you are already in Leura and prefer to walk, you can start at the Leura Village shops. Head south on Leura Mall, then turn left onto Megalong Street. Continue walking until you reach the entrance to Elysian Rock Access Walk on your left. The walk to the lookout from the entrance is about 1 kilometer and is well-signposted. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as the path may be uneven.
