Walking
If you're already in Katoomba, walking to Landslide Lookout is a good option. Start from Katoomba Street and head towards Katoomba Falls Reserve. Follow the well-marked walking paths, enjoying the scenery along the way. The walk takes about 30 minutes. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
Public Transport
To reach Landslide Lookout via public transport, take a train from Sydney to Katoomba Station. The train journey is approximately 2 hours. From Katoomba Station, take the Route 686 bus towards Scenic World. Get off at the Scenic World stop. From there, it's a short, approximately 700-meter walk to Landslide Lookout, following the trail signs. An Opal card or contactless payment is needed for the train and bus. A single train fare from Sydney to Katoomba costs around $9.00 AUD.
Car
If driving, head towards Katoomba. From Katoomba, take the Great Western Highway (A32) and follow the signs towards Katoomba Falls Road. Continue on Katoomba Falls Road, which leads to the area near Landslide Lookout. Limited parking is available nearby, especially during peak seasons. Parking near Scenic World can cost approximately $10 AUD per hour.
