Public Transport - Bus
To reach the Brisbane Botanic Gardens Lagoon from the Brisbane CBD, start by heading to the nearest bus stop. You can catch a bus from the Queen Street Bus Station located on Queen Street. Look for bus routes 440 or 471 which head towards Toowong. Board the bus and stay on until you reach the stop at Mount Coot-tha Rd near the Botanic Gardens entrance. Once you get off, walk down the path towards the gardens, and you will find the lagoon area.

Public Transport - Train
From Brisbane CBD, walk to Central Station and catch a train on the Ferny Grove line. Get off at Toowong Station. Once you arrive, exit the station and walk straight along Sherwood Road. Continue onto Mount Coot-tha Rd which will take you directly to the Brisbane Botanic Gardens. It is about a 20-minute walk from the station to the gardens.

If you are staying in the Toowong area, you can easily walk to the Brisbane Botanic Gardens Lagoon. Head to Mount Coot-tha Rd and follow the signs leading you towards the Botanic Gardens. The gardens are well-marked, and the lagoon is a central feature, making it easy to find.
