Start your journey from the Byron Bay town center. Head east on Johnson Street towards the beach. When you reach the beach, turn left and walk along the coastline, enjoying the beautiful views. Follow the path until you reach the Cape Byron Lighthouse. This will take approximately 30-40 minutes depending on your pace. As you approach the lighthouse, look for the signs directing you to the Cape Byron Walking Track.

Once on the Cape Byron Walking Track, continue following the signs leading to the lighthouse. The track is well-maintained and offers stunning views of the ocean. You will pass several lookout points along the way. After reaching the lighthouse, continue walking along the track, which will lead you to the Most Easterly Point of the Australian Mainland. This last stretch is about 10-15 minutes and will provide breathtaking views.

Upon reaching the Most Easterly Point, you will find a designated viewpoint with a sign indicating your location. Take some time to enjoy the scenery and capture some photos. If you wish to return to the town center, simply retrace your steps back along the Cape Byron Walking Track to the lighthouse, and then back down to Byron Bay.
