Bus
If you are starting from Surfers Paradise, head to the nearest bus stop and take the Surfside Bus Lines Route 700 towards Tweed Heads. The bus will take you along the coastline, providing beautiful views along the way. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the 'North Kirra Beach' stop. Once you exit the bus, walk towards the beach access path which is just a short walk away.

If you are near the Gold Coast Light Rail station, take the tram heading south towards Broadbeach South. Get off at the last stop, and then transfer to the train at the nearby Nerang station. Board a train heading to Tweed Heads. Once you arrive at the Tweed Heads station, exit and catch the Surfside Bus Lines Route 700 which will take you directly to North Kirra Beach. Alight at the 'North Kirra Beach' stop and walk a few minutes to the beach.

For those who enjoy cycling, you can rent a bike from various rental shops in Gold Coast. Start your journey by heading south towards the Gold Coast Highway. Follow the coastal bike path which provides a scenic ride. Continue cycling until you reach the North Kirra Beach area. This route may take approximately 40 minutes depending on your cycling speed.
