If you are traveling by car, head towards Rainbow Beach. From the center of Rainbow Beach, drive along Cooloola Drive for approximately 8 kilometers. You will see signs for Carlo Sand Blow on your left. There is a designated parking area where you can leave your vehicle. Parking is free.

Once you have parked your car, you will need to walk to Carlo Sand Blow. Follow the walking track that starts from the parking area. The track is well-marked and takes about 20-30 minutes to reach the sand blow. The walk is relatively easy and suitable for all fitness levels.

Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, look for buses that run from Noosa or Gympie to Rainbow Beach. Once you arrive at Rainbow Beach, you can either take a taxi or walk the 8 kilometers to Carlo Sand Blow, as public transport does not go all the way to the sand blow. The walk from the town to the sand blow will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.
