    If you are driving from the center of Great Southern, take the Great Southern Highway (A1) heading southeast. After approximately 35 km, merge onto the Western Highway (A8) towards Ballarat. Continue on the Western Highway for about 70 km until you reach the exit for Ballarat. Follow signs for Ballarat and turn onto the Pyrenees Highway (C290). Continue on this road for about 5 km, then take a right onto Cobden Street. The Ballarat Municipal Observatory & Museum will be on your left at 439 Cobden St, Mount Pleasant VIC 3350. There is parking available on-site.
