Car
If you're driving to Thredbo Diggings campground, start from Jindabyne, which is about 30 minutes away. Head east on Kosciuszko Road (B40) towards Thredbo. Continue on this road until you reach the junction with Alpine Way. Turn right onto Alpine Way and follow it for approximately 10 kilometers. Look for the signs directing you to Bullocks Flat. Once you reach Bullocks Flat, turn onto Bullocks Walking Track. The campground is located along this track. There are no fees for parking at the campground.

For those using public transportation, take a bus from Jindabyne to Thredbo. Buses typically operate during the ski season and can be booked in advance. Upon reaching Thredbo, you will need to arrange for a taxi or a rideshare service to take you to Bullocks Flat. From Bullocks Flat, you can walk to Thredbo Diggings campground via Bullocks Walking Track, which is approximately a 15-minute walk. Be sure to check bus schedules and availability beforehand, as they may vary.

If you are already in the vicinity of Bullocks Flat and prefer to walk, head towards Bullocks Walking Track. Follow the track for about 1.5 kilometers; it is a well-marked path leading directly to Thredbo Diggings campground.
