Car
If you're driving, start from the Mount Field National Park Visitor Centre. Head south on Lake Rd and then take a right onto Gordon River Rd. Continue on Gordon River Rd for approximately 10 kilometers. You will see signs for McPartlan Pass Canal along the way. The canal is located on the left side of the road. Look for a small parking area where you can safely pull over.

Public Transportation
If you are relying on public transportation, you can take a bus from Hobart to Mount Field National Park. Check the current bus schedules as they can vary. Once you arrive at the park, you will need to walk to the main road (Gordon River Rd). From there, it is approximately a 3-kilometer walk south along the road to reach McPartlan Pass Canal. Wear comfortable shoes as the walk can be uneven in places.
