Getting There

    If you are driving to O'Grady Falls, start from the Mount Field National Park entrance. Head southeast on Lake Dobson Road for approximately 5.5 km. Continue straight to stay on Lake Dobson Road until you reach the junction with the Betts Vale Track. Turn right onto Betts Vale Track and follow it for about 3 km. Look for signs directing you to O'Grady Falls. There is a parking area available near the falls, but please note that parking may be limited during peak tourist seasons.

  • Public Transportation

    For those using public transportation, take a bus from Hobart to Mount Field National Park. You can catch the bus at the Hobart Transit Centre. Once you arrive at the park, you will need to walk to the falls. From the visitor center, head onto Lake Dobson Road and proceed southeast for about 5.5 km. At the junction with Betts Vale Track, turn right. Note that the walk from the visitor center to O'Grady Falls is approximately 5 km and may take around 1.5 to 2 hours.
