To reach the Burke and Wills Camp 1 Monument via public transport, take the tram number 59 from the Moonee Ponds Junction tram stop towards the city. Ride for about 5 stops (approximately 15 minutes) and disembark at the Moonee Ponds stop. From there, walk east along Mt. Alexander Rd for about 500 meters. The monument will be on your right, and you should see a small parking area where you can also view the site.
