If you are driving, head south on Mt. Alexander Rd from the center of Moonee Ponds. Continue straight for approximately 1 kilometer. The Burke and Wills Camp 1 Monument will be located on your right-hand side. Look for a small parking area nearby to safely stop and enjoy the site.

Public Transportation
To reach the Burke and Wills Camp 1 Monument via public transport, take the tram number 59 from the Moonee Ponds Junction tram stop towards the city. Ride for about 5 stops (approximately 15 minutes) and disembark at the Moonee Ponds stop. From there, walk east along Mt. Alexander Rd for about 500 meters. The monument will be on your right, and you should see a small parking area where you can also view the site.
