Car
If you are driving, start from the nearest major town, which is Grafton. From Grafton, get onto the Pacific Highway (A1) and head north towards Yamba. After approximately 60 kilometers, take the exit onto Yamba Road, following the signs for Yamba. Continue straight on Yamba Road until you reach the roundabout, then take the second exit onto River Street. Follow River Street until you reach the coastline and continue until you see Pilot Street. Turn left onto Pilot Street; Yamba Lighthouse will be located on your right at 1 Pilot St, Yamba NSW 2464. Parking is available at nearby public parking areas.
Public Transportation
If you're using public transport, start by taking a train or bus to Grafton. From Grafton, take a local bus service to Yamba. The journey will take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Yamba, you can either walk or take a taxi to Yamba Lighthouse, which is about 2 kilometers from the bus stop. The walk will take around 25 minutes along the scenic Yamba coastline, or you can opt for a quick taxi ride for a small fee.
Walking
If you are staying in Yamba, you can easily walk to the lighthouse. From the main beach area, head towards the coast and follow the walking paths that lead to the lighthouse. It is approximately a 1-kilometer walk from the town center and will take around 15 minutes. This scenic walk offers beautiful views of the ocean and is highly recommended for its picturesque surroundings.
