If you're traveling by car, head towards Tweed Heads South. From the Pacific Highway (M1), take the exit towards Tweed Heads (Exit 7). Follow the signs for Tweed Heads South and continue on Minjungbal Drive. Turn onto Kirkwood Road, and you will find the Tweed Heads Historic Site at 17 Kirkwood Rd, Tweed Heads South NSW 2486. Parking is available nearby, and there is no entry fee for the site.

For those using public transportation, catch a bus to Tweed Heads from various locations in the Northern Rivers region. The 'Tweed Heads Bus Terminal' is a central hub, where you can find services operated by Surfside Buslines. From the bus terminal, take the bus route 600 or 601 towards Tweed Heads South. Alight at the 'Kirkwood Rd near Cudgen Rd' stop. The Tweed Heads Historic Site is a short 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Follow Kirkwood Rd until you reach the site at 17 Kirkwood Rd.
