Getting There

Bus
From the center of Surfers Paradise, head to the nearest bus stop on Surfers Paradise Boulevard. Take the Gold Coast bus number 700 or 750 heading towards Tweed Heads. Stay on the bus for approximately 30-40 minutes until you reach the South Murwillumbah stop. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk to Murwillumbah Railway Station. Just walk along Tweed Valley Way until you reach the station.

Bike
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in Surfers Paradise. From the beachfront, ride north along the Gold Coast Highway until you reach the intersection with Tweed Valley Way. Turn left onto Tweed Valley Way and continue for about 20 km until you reach Murwillumbah Railway Station. Be sure to follow the cycle paths where available for a safer ride.

If you're up for a long walk, you can start from the Surfers Paradise foreshore. Head north along the beach until you reach the Gold Coast Highway. Follow the highway until you arrive at Tweed Valley Way. Turn left and continue walking for about 20 km. This will take you to Murwillumbah Railway Station.
