Car
If you are driving from the Sydney CBD, take the Warringah Freeway (M1) heading north. Continue on the M1 and take the exit for the A38 (Warringah Road) towards Frenchs Forest. Follow Warringah Road for approximately 8km until you reach Dee Why. Turn left onto Pacific Parade and follow the road until you see signs for Dee Why Lagoon. There is free street parking available near the lagoon.

Public Transportation - Bus
From the Sydney CBD, catch a bus from the Queen Victoria Building (QVB) on York Street, which services routes 136, 139, or 142 towards Dee Why. The journey takes about 40-50 minutes. Disembark at the Dee Why Grand stop (after about 20 stops). From there, it's a 15-minute walk to Dee Why Lagoon. Head northwest on Pittwater Road, then turn right onto Pacific Parade. Continue on Pacific Parade until you reach the lagoon.

Public Transportation - Train and Bus
Take a train from Sydney Central Station to Chatswood Station on the North Shore Line. Once at Chatswood, transfer to bus route 136, 139, or 142 towards Dee Why. After approximately 20 minutes, get off at the Dee Why Grand bus stop. From there, walk northwest on Pittwater Road and turn right onto Pacific Parade to reach Dee Why Lagoon, which is about a 15-minute walk.
