From Sydney Basin, head north on the Pacific Highway (A1). Take the exit towards West Head Road. Continue on West Head Road until you reach the entrance to Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park. Follow the signs to The Basin campground, which is located on Basin Trail. The campground has limited parking, so be sure to arrive early. Note that there is a park entry fee of approximately AUD 12 per vehicle.

Public Transportation
Take a train from Sydney to Cowan Station on the Central Coast & Newcastle Line. From Cowan Station, you can catch the 587 bus towards Akuna Bay. Get off at the West Head Road stop and then walk approximately 2.5 kilometers along West Head Road until you reach the entrance to Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park. Once inside the park, follow the signs to The Basin campground, located on Basin Trail. Be aware that public transport schedules may vary, so check the latest timetables in advance.
