From Sydney Central Station, take the Central Coast & Newcastle Line train towards Newcastle Interchange. Get off at the Gosford Station (approximately 1 hour journey). Once at Gosford Station, exit the station and head to the bus stop located on the corner of Mann Street and Donnison Street. Take the Bus Route 33 towards Woy Woy and get off at the Calga Road stop. From there, it is a short 15-minute walk to Walkabout Wildlife Sanctuary along Darkinjung Road.

From Sydney's Town Hall, catch the Bus Route 610 towards Woy Woy. Stay on the bus for about 1 hour and 30 minutes until you reach the Calga Road stop. After getting off, head south on Calga Road for approximately 10 minutes until you reach Walkabout Wildlife Sanctuary, located at 1 Darkinjung Rd.
