To reach the Bay of Islands from the Twelve Apostles by car, start on the Great Ocean Road (B100). Head west on B100 from the Twelve Apostles, following the signs towards Port Campbell. Continue for approximately 12 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Peterborough Road (C219). Turn left onto C219 and continue for about 8 kilometers. You will then see the signs for Bay of Islands Coastal Park. Follow the signs, and you'll find the entrance to the park on Bay of Islands Track. The total driving time is around 25-30 minutes, depending on traffic.

If you prefer to use public transportation, note that there are limited bus services in the area. Start by taking a bus from the Twelve Apostles Visitor Centre to Port Campbell. Check the bus schedule in advance, as services may not be frequent. Once you arrive in Port Campbell, you will need to catch a taxi or rideshare service to reach Bay of Islands, which is approximately 10 kilometers away. The taxi fare may range from AUD 20-30. Make sure to plan your return trip as well, as public transport options may be limited.
