If you're driving from Sydney, take the M4 Motorway towards the Blue Mountains. Continue on the M4, which becomes the Great Western Highway (A32) as you approach Katoomba. Once in Katoomba, follow signs to Echo Point Lookout. From Echo Point, turn onto Cliff Drive and follow it until you reach Reids Plateau Lookout, where Orphan Rock Lookout is located. There is a car park available, and it's just a 5-minute walk from the car park to the lookout.

To reach Orphan Rock Lookout via public transport, take a train from Sydney to Katoomba Station. Trains run regularly, and the journey takes approximately 2 hours. Once you arrive at Katoomba Station, you can catch a local bus (Route 686 or 687) towards Echo Point. After getting off at Echo Point, you can either walk (approximately 30 minutes) or take a taxi to Reids Plateau Lookout. Note that walking from Echo Point involves navigating some steep terrain.
