If you are driving to the Ruined Castle, start by entering the Blue Mountains National Park area. From Katoomba, follow the signs for the Great Western Highway (A32) heading west. After about 5 km, take the exit toward Cliff Drive. Follow Cliff Drive, which will take you past scenic lookouts. Continue on this road until you reach the entrance to the Ruined Castle walking track, which is located at the top of the scenic railway near Scenic World. There is a parking area available, but be aware that parking fees may apply, typically around AUD 4-8 for a daily ticket.

To reach the Ruined Castle via public transport, start by taking a train from Sydney to Katoomba Station. Trains run regularly, and the journey takes about 2 hours.
