If you are travelling by car, head towards Leura from Katoomba. Follow the signs for the Great Western Highway (A32). Once you reach Leura, turn onto Leura Mall, which will take you directly into the heart of the town. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Olympian Parade, and take a left turn. Follow Olympian Parade until you see the entrance to the Leura Cascades Picnic Area on your left. There is parking available on-site, and it’s free of charge.

To reach Leura Cascades Picnic Area using public transport, take a train from Sydney to Leura Station. Trains run regularly from Sydney's Central Station to Leura and the journey takes about 2 hours.
