    If you are already in Wilson's Promontory National Park and wish to reach Yiruk -Wamoon, begin at the Tidal River campground area. Head south on the Main Road, following the signs towards the Wilsons Promontory Lighthouse. Continue along this road for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach the beginning of the walking track to Yiruk -Wamoon. Note that there is no direct vehicle access to Yiruk -Wamoon itself, so you'll need to park in the designated parking areas near the walking track entrance. Be sure to bring water and snacks, as there are no facilities along the track.

    From the parking area, follow the Yiruk -Wamoon walking track which is well-marked. The hike is approximately 4 kilometers one way and takes about 1.5 to 2 hours to reach the site.
