Public Transport
From Eisenstadt, walk to the Eisenstadt train station (Bahnhof Eisenstadt). Take the train towards Vienna (Wien). The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Wien Hauptbahnhof (Vienna Central Station), transfer to the U-Bahn (subway) line U1 towards Stephansplatz. Get off at the stop 'Karlsplatz' and transfer to line U2 towards Stadion. Get off at 'Museumsquartier' station. From there, exit the station and walk towards Burgring, which is about a 10-minute walk. Follow the signs to the Museum of Natural History, located at Burgring 7.
Bus
Walk to the nearest bus stop in Eisenstadt and take the bus to the train station. Once at the Eisenstadt train station, catch a bus that goes directly to Vienna. The bus ride may take around 45 minutes to an hour depending on traffic. When you arrive in Vienna, you can take the tram line 1 or 2 towards the center. Get off at 'Burgring', which is a short walk from the Museum of Natural History at Burgring 7.
Walking/Cycling
If you're feeling adventurous and prefer to walk or cycle, you can take the scenic route from Eisenstadt to Vienna, which is about 40 km. Follow the cycling path along the main road towards Vienna, passing through beautiful countryside and vineyards. Once you reach the outskirts of Vienna, follow the signs towards the city center. You can then navigate to Burgring 7 by using a map or navigation app.
