If you are in the center of Eisenstadt, head towards the Eisenstadt train station (Bahnhof Eisenstadt). From the station, exit onto Bahnhofstraße and walk straight until you reach the main road, then turn left onto B16. Continue walking for about 1.5 km until you reach the bus station. Here, you can take Bus 1 or Bus 2 heading towards Vienna. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Maria-Theresien-Platz'. From there, the Kunsthistorisches Museum Wien is just a short walk away.

From Eisenstadt, make your way to the Eisenstadt train station (Bahnhof Eisenstadt). Purchase a ticket for Vienna (Wien), and board the next train going to Wien Meidling. Once you arrive at Wien Meidling, transfer to the U-Bahn Line U6 towards Floridsdorf and get off at the stop 'Karlsplatz'. From Karlsplatz, follow the signs to the U2 line and board the train towards 'Karlsplatz'. Get off at the next stop 'Volksgarten'. Exit the station and walk towards Maria-Theresien-Platz, which is located in front of the Kunsthistorisches Museum Wien.
