Walking

From the center of Eisenstadt, head south on Hauptstraße towards the roundabout. Continue straight through the roundabout, taking the exit onto B50. Walk for about 10 minutes until you reach the train station. At the station, take a train heading to Vienna. After about 30 minutes, you will arrive at Wien Hauptbahnhof. From there, exit the station and walk to the nearby U-Bahn station 'Wien Südtiroler Platz'. Take the U1 line (red line) towards 'Stephansplatz' and get off at 'Karlsplatz'. From Karlsplatz, transfer to the U4 line (green line) towards 'Hütteldorf' and get off at 'Kettenbrückengasse'. Finally, exit the station and walk west on Linke Wienzeile for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at the Theater an der Wien located at Linke Wienzeile 6.
Bus

Start at the Eisenstadt bus station, located in the city center. Take the bus number 119 towards 'Wien, Stadion Center'. The journey will take approximately 50 minutes. Get off at the 'Wien, Stadion Center' stop. From there, walk towards the U-Bahn station 'Stadion'. Take the U2 line (purple line) towards 'Karlsplatz' and get off at 'Karlsplatz'. Now, transfer to the U4 line (green line) towards 'Hütteldorf' and get off at 'Kettenbrückengasse'. Exit the station and walk west on Linke Wienzeile for around 5 minutes until you reach Theater an der Wien at Linke Wienzeile 6.
