Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the main square, Hauptplatz, head east towards Herrengasse. Continue straight on Herrengasse for about 300 meters until you reach Gemaltes Haus, located at Herrengasse 3. The building is easily recognizable due to its colorful frescoed facade.

  • Public Transport (Tram)

    From the Graz Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take tram line 1 towards Gösting. Get off at the second stop, Jakominiplatz. From Jakominiplatz, transfer to tram line 3 towards Webling and get off at the Herrengasse stop. Walk north on Herrengasse for about 100 meters to reach Gemaltes Haus at Herrengasse 3.

    If you are at the Kunsthaus Graz, head south on the Murpromenade until you reach the bridge. Cross the Mur River and continue straight onto Landhausgasse. Turn left onto Herrengasse and walk for about 500 meters until you reach Gemaltes Haus at Herrengasse 3.
