If you are in the heart of Innere Stadt, you are likely within a short walking distance from Hauptplatz der Stadt Graz. Start by heading towards the main pedestrian street, Herrengasse. Walk along Herrengasse until you reach the intersection with Hauptplatz. Turn right at this intersection and continue straight for about 100 meters. You will see the beautiful Hauptplatz in front of you, with its iconic buildings and vibrant atmosphere.

Public Transport (Tram)
For those who prefer a quicker route via public transport, you can take the tram. Look for the nearest tram stop, either am Hauptplatz or Jakominiplatz. If you are at Jakominiplatz, board tram line 1 or 7 towards the direction of Graz Hauptbahnhof. Get off at the Hauptplatz stop. From there, you will see the square right in front of you. A single tram ticket costs approximately €2.20, which can be purchased at ticket vending machines located at the tram stops.

If you enjoy cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many bike-sharing stations around Innere Stadt. Once you have a bike, head towards Hauptplatz der Stadt Graz.
