Walking
From the center of Hallstatt, head towards the lakeshore along the main street (Landungsplatz). Continue walking until you reach the ferry terminal. Take a ferry to Gmunden. The ferry ride offers beautiful views of the lake. Once you arrive in Gmunden, follow the signs towards the Baumwipfelpfad Salzkammergut, which is about a 15-minute walk from the ferry terminal. Head east along the lakeshore promenade, then turn left onto the road leading up to the treetop walk.

Public Transport
From Hallstatt, walk to the ferry terminal and take the ferry to Gmunden. Once you arrive in Gmunden, you can take bus number 2 from the Gmunden bus stop towards 'Gmunden - Traunsee'. Get off at the 'Baumwipfelpfad' stop. Follow the signs from the bus stop to the Baumwipfelpfad Salzkammergut. It's a short walk from there.
