Rindbach Wasserfall Travel Guide

Nestled in the scenic landscapes of Ebensee, Upper Austria, the Rindbach Waterfall is a captivating natural attraction. This multi-tiered waterfall, while not exceptionally tall (approximately 15 to 20 meters), enchants visitors with its beauty and accessibility. The waterfall is easily reached from a small gravel parking lot near Schießstätte in Rindbach or at the Rindbach recreational area, about 1 km east of Ebensee.The well-marked circular walking route makes it easy for families, including those with young children, to explore this enchanting locale. The walk to the waterfall and back takes about one to one and a half hours, covering approximately 1.5 kilometers with an elevation difference of 113 meters; the hike is considered relatively easy. Along the path, several viewpoints offer romantic vistas of the waterfall and the surrounding nature.The area is accessible year-round, provided there are no snow or ice conditions. The Rindbach recreational area also features a paddling pool, offering a refreshing break on warm summer days, though the water can be cold. For refreshments, the Windbar is open from April to October. Keep in mind that parking fees are applicable throughout the year.
