Getting There

  • Train

    From Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof (Main Train Station), take a direct train to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Trains usually run every hour, and the journey takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Garmisch-Partenkirchen station, exit the station and follow the signs to the bus terminal located right outside the train station.

    At the Garmisch-Partenkirchen bus terminal, take the bus number 1 or 2 heading towards 'Zugspitzbahn' or 'Ehrwald'. Get off at the stop 'Garmisch-Classic'. From there, you will see signs directing you to the various ski areas and facilities of Garmisch-Classic, which is about a 5-10 minute walk.
