    From Innsbruck Main Station (Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof), take the train towards Munich. You will want to board an RE (Regional Express) or an RB (Regionalbahn) train. The journey will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Stay on the train until you reach the station called 'Kochel am See'. Once you arrive at Kochel am See, follow the signs to Kochelsee, which is a short walk from the station.

    After reaching Kochel am See train station, you can take a local bus to get closer to Kochelsee. Look for bus line 960 or 961 that will take you to Kochelsee. The bus ride is about 10-15 minutes. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance as they may not run frequently.

    If you prefer to walk from Kochel am See station to Kochelsee, it is approximately a 15-20 minute walk. Exit the station and head towards the main road (B2).
