Experience Hohe Tauern National Park Information Centre

Getting There

  • Car

    From Krimml Waterfalls, head southeast on Wasserfallstraße towards the B165. Continue on B165 for about 6 km. Follow the signs to Mittersill, merging onto B161. After approximately 11 km, you will arrive at the Hohe Tauern National Park Information Centre located at Gerlos Str. 18, 5730 Mittersill. Parking is available on-site, but be aware that there may be a small fee for parking.

  • Public Transportation

    From Krimml Waterfalls, walk to the nearest bus stop (Krimml, Wasserfälle). Take the bus line 660 towards Mittersill. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Mittersill, Mitterweg stop. From there, it's a 10-minute walk to the Hohe Tauern National Park Information Centre. Head northeast on Mitterweg, turn right onto Gerlosstraße, and you will find the Centre at Gerlos Str. 18. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance as the frequency may vary.
