If you're driving from any location in Lake Neusiedl, take the A4 motorway heading towards Vienna. Follow the signs for A23 towards Wien/Prague. After approximately 35 km, take exit 24 for A2 towards Wien-Süd. Continue on the A2 and then merge onto A23. Follow the signs for Zentrum. Take the exit for Landstraße and continue straight onto Ringstraße. Rathausplatz will be on your right. Be prepared for city traffic and look for parking areas nearby, as parking can be limited.

To reach Rathausplatz via public transport, start by finding the nearest train station in Lake Neusiedl. Take a regional train (ÖBB) towards Vienna. The train journey typically takes about 30 to 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Wien Hauptbahnhof (Vienna Central Station), transfer to the U-Bahn (subway) line U1 towards Leopoldau. Get off at Stephansplatz station. From there, it’s a 10-15 minute walk to Rathausplatz. Walk down Graben street, passing St. Stephen's Cathedral, and continue straight until you reach Rathausplatz. Make sure to check the current train schedules and ticket prices, which can range from €5 to €10 for a single journey.
