Getting There

  • Public Transport

    If you are in the center of Eisenstadt, walk to the nearest bus stop and catch bus line 1 towards the Eisenstadt main train station. The journey will take about 15 minutes. Once at the train station, take the train to Vienna, which is a direct route. After approximately 45 minutes, you will arrive at Wien Hauptbahnhof (Vienna Main Station). From there, transfer to tram line D towards Nußdorf and get off at the station 'Schottentor'. Walk northwest along Universitätsring for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at the University of Vienna located at Universitätsring 1.

    Start by walking to the Eisenstadt bus terminal located at the main square. From there, take bus line 2 or bus line 5 towards the Eisenstadt main train station. After reaching the station, board a train to Vienna. Once you arrive at Wien Hauptbahnhof, follow the signs to the underground metro and take U1 towards Stephansplatz. At Stephansplatz, transfer to U2 towards Karlsplatz and get off at the 'Karlsplatz' station. From there, it is a 10-minute walk to the University of Vienna. Head northwest on Opernring, then turn left onto Universitätsring, and you will find the university on your right.
