From the center of St. Johann im Pongau, follow the signs towards Alpendorf. The walk is approximately 3-4 kilometers and takes around 45 minutes to an hour. It's a pleasant walk, but consider that it is uphill. Cost: Free

From the A10 Tauern motorway, take the St. Johann im Pongau exit. Follow the signs to Alpendorf. There are sufficient parking spaces available at the Alpendorf Bergbahnen. Parking is available in the Kongresshaus and Stadtgalerie, with the first hour free, then €0.50 per half hour. Cost: * Parking at Kongresshaus/Stadtgalerie: First hour free, then €0.50 per half hour. Weekends (Fri 18:00 - Mon 07:00) max €2.50.
