Getting There

  • Walking

    From the city center (Getreidegasse), walk towards the Salzburg Cathedral. Once at the cathedral, head to the right and walk along the pedestrian zone until you reach the Alter Markt square. From Alter Markt, take the narrow street on your left called St. Peter Bezirk. Continue walking straight until you see the entrance to the Katakomben St. Peter on your left side, just past the St. Peter's Church.

  • Public Transport

    If you are near the Mirabell Palace, take the bus line 1 or 2 from the Mirabellplatz stop towards the Linzergasse. Get off at the stop called 'St. Peter' which is close to the entrance of St. Peter's Church. From the bus stop, walk towards St. Peter Bezirk and you will find the Katakomben St. Peter to your left.

  • Walking

    If you are near the fortress (Hohensalzburg), exit the fortress and head down the hill towards the old town. Once you reach the bottom, walk towards the Cathedral. From the Cathedral, follow the directions as mentioned above, heading towards the Alter Markt square and then St. Peter Bezirk.
