Once you reach Residenzplatz, the Residenzgalerie is located at Residenzpl. 1, right next to the Salzburg Cathedral. Look for the grand entrance which will lead you into the gallery.

    From the Mirabell Palace (Mirabellgarten), walk to the bus stop 'Mirabellplatz'. Take the bus number 5 or 7 towards Lehen. Get off at the stop 'Residenzplatz'. From there, walk towards the Salzburg Cathedral, and the Residenzgalerie will be directly adjacent to it at Residenzpl. 1.

  • Public Transport - Tram

    If you are near the main train station (Hauptbahnhof), walk to the tram stop 'Hauptbahnhof'. Take tram number 1 towards 'Südtiroler Platz'. After about 10 minutes, get off at 'Residenzplatz'. The Residenzgalerie is a short walk from the tram stop, right beside the Cathedral at Residenzpl. 1.
