Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Mirabell Palace, exit the palace grounds and head east toward Mirabellplatz. Walk straight through Mirabellplatz and continue onto Schwarzstraße. Follow this road until you reach the intersection with Alter Markt. Turn left onto Alter Markt and continue straight until you reach Residenzplatz. Dommuseum Salzburg is located at Residenzplatz 1, Domplatz 1a, which will be on your left side.

    From the Salzburg Train Station (Hauptbahnhof), exit the station and head north towards the city center. Follow the signs for the Old Town (Altstadt) and walk along the Rainerstraße, which will lead you to the Old Town. Continue walking straight until you reach the Salzach River. Cross the river via the Makartsteg bridge. After crossing, turn left and walk along the riverbank until you arrive at the entrance to the historic Old Town. From there, make your way to Residenzplatz, where Dommuseum Salzburg is located.
