Walking
From the Hallstatt town center, walk north along the Gosaumühlstraße. The viewpoint is located on a small hill and is easily accessible by foot. The walk is approximately 15 minutes from the center.
Public Transport
If arriving by bus, disembark at the Hallstatt Gosaumühle stop. From there, it's a short walk along Gosaumühlstraße to the viewpoint. If arriving by train, take the ferry from the Hallstatt train station across the lake to the town. The ferry costs approximately €3 per person. From the ferry dock in Hallstatt, walk north along Gosaumühlstraße. Public transport within Hallstatt is limited, and walking is the most convenient way to reach the viewpoint.
Parking
If driving, parking is available in designated parking lots outside the town center. From the P1 car park, it is about a 20-minute walk to the center of Hallstatt. Follow signs towards the town center and then walk north along Gosaumühlstraße to reach the viewpoint. Parking costs range from €5 for 1 hour to €18 for a day ticket. Be aware that parking spaces are limited, especially during peak season.
