    From Kapitelplatz in the Old Town, walk south on Herrengasse, then turn right onto Kaigasse. Continue onto Nonnbergstiege, a staircase leading directly to the abbey. Alternatively, from the city center, walk southeast towards the Salzach River, cross the Makartsteg bridge, and continue onto Nonnberggasse, following signs for Stift Nonnberg. The walk is uphill and takes approximately 15-20 minutes.
