Getting There

  • Car

    From the center of Sölden, head southwest on the B186 road. Follow the B186 for approximately 10 km until you reach the Obergurgl area. Look for signs indicating 'Gaislachkoglbahn' cable car station. You will need to park your car at the designated parking area near the cable car station, which may charge a parking fee of around €10 per day.

  • Cable Car

    After parking, purchase a ticket for the Gaislachkoglbahn cable car at the station. The ride will take you up to the Gaislachkogl peak, which offers stunning views and access to the glacier area. A round-trip ticket costs approximately €40. Once at the top, follow the signs to Sölden Gletscher.

  • Public Transportation

    If you are using public transport, take the Postbus from Sölden to the Obergurgl stop. The bus runs at regular intervals, and the fare is approximately €5. Once you arrive at Obergurgl, walk towards the Gaislachkoglbahn cable car station. Purchase a ticket and take the cable car as described above to reach Sölden Gletscher.
