Getting there

Car

If you are traveling by car, start from any major city in Upper Austria, such as Linz or Salzburg. From Linz, take the A1 motorway heading towards Vienna. After approximately 30 kilometers, take the exit towards Steyr (A9) and follow the signs to Steyr. Once you reach Steyr, navigate to Stadtplatz 12, which is the address of Sternhaus. There is street parking available nearby, but be aware of local parking regulations which may incur fees.

Public Transportation

If you prefer public transportation, take the train from Linz to Steyr. The train departs from Linz Hauptbahnhof and runs frequently; the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Steyr train station, exit the station and take a bus (line 1 or 2) towards the city center. Get off at the Stadtplatz stop, which is a short walk to Stadtplatz 12. Keep some coins handy for the bus fare, which is around €2.50.

Walking

If you are already in Steyr or have taken public transportation to the city center, you can walk to Sternhaus. From the Stadtplatz bus stop, head directly towards Stadtplatz 12, which is in the square itself. The walk should take you about 5 minutes and will allow you to enjoy the beautiful architecture of the square.
