Once you arrive at Stephansplatz station, follow the signs for the exits. Upon exiting the station, you will be at Stephansplatz, directly in front of St. Stephen's Cathedral.

Locate the nearest tram stop. You can take Tram 1 or Tram 2. If you are on Tram 1, get off at the stop 'Schwedenplatz' and walk about 5 minutes towards Stephansplatz. If you are on Tram 2, get off at 'Karlsplatz' and walk towards the east along Opernring, then turn left on Kärntnertor Theater, which leads you to Stephansplatz.

From the Vienna State Opera, head east on Opernring. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Kärntnertor Theater. Turn right here, which will lead you directly to Stephansplatz. This walk should take around 10-15 minutes.
