If arriving by car, navigate to Kuenringerstraße 13, 3394 Aggstein. From Krems an der Donau, head southwest on the B37 road, following signs for Aggstein. Continue to the junction with Kuenringerstraße and turn right. Follow Kuenringerstraße until you see signs for Aggstein Castle. Parking is available near the castle. Parking fees may apply.

To reach Aggstein Castle via public transport, take a train to Krems an der Donau. From Krems Bahnhof, transfer to bus line 720 towards Aggstein. Get off at the 'Aggstein Nord' stop. From there, it's approximately a 15-minute walk uphill to the castle. Bus tickets can be purchased on board or at the Krems Bahnhof. A single bus fare will cost approximately €3-€11. Check the bus schedule beforehand, as services may be limited, especially on weekends.
